My career at Schneider Electric began in 2004 as a Manufacturing Associate at Plant 2 in Monterrey, Mexico. I had been at the plant for four months when I was promoted to Quality Inspector. This was the first step in my exciting journey of career growth at Schneider Electric, and from then on, my professional development was constant until today, where I work as Manufacturing Manager.
Boosting my Professional Development: A key to Career Growth
There are various programs at Schneider Electric that help you finish or continue school. In my case, a few months after joining the company, I applied for a call for financial support to finish high school and I was selected. This gave me a lot of openness to think again about continuing with my formal education.
While finishing high school, I continued to develop myself in different areas and roles, and when I finished I decided to continue studying, now to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree as Industrial Administrator Engineer. At the same time, I started studying English, which was something I also needed to be a Manufacturing Supervisor. In my previous experiences, I had never seen women as production supervisors in any plant, and when I saw them at Schneider Electric, I said, “Well, why not?”. I had the necessary skills such as interacting with people, executing and monitoring processes, and I wanted to develop them in that role.
When I finished my Bachelor’s Degree, I had the opportunity to become a Manufacturing Supervisor. And that wasn’t the end of the story! Little by little, I got more responsibilities, more production lines, more projects and more people under my charge. My professional development continued. Working with other people at the plant, I was able to promote improvements and changes in different areas.
Driving Continuous Improvement with Support
I am currently a Manufacturing Manager and my job is to ensure the timely production of the products we manufacture, always ensuring the quality for our customers. I also see continuous improvement at the plant as one of my priorities, but my main interest is to ensure a safe environment and a good working environment for our team.

Motivation to Achieve Success & Career Growth
I have always been very competitive, so I always like to surpass my metrics and I think the key to that is that day by day we look for improvements in the lines, or in the processes that we are in charge of, and at the end of the year we will see something very different from where we started.
A focus on “How can things be achieved?” fosters collaboration and teamwork. I am very clear that if I did not have colleagues supporting me, what I do would not make any sense. If we all don’t work towards the same goal and communicate to achieve it, none of this could happen.
What inspires me the most is professional development, because I know that Schneider Electric is a place where you can always grow . I think it is up to each of us to want to grow and show it.
I also really like that Schneider doesn’t just sell a panel, a transformer or a switch, but offers a complete solution and connects all the devices so that in the end you can see in a screen how efficient or inefficient each specific part of the installation is. That part is wonderful, and that innovative vision is something that motivates me to work here.
Values as a Driving Force for Excellence

Values, like innovation, are an important differentiator at Schneider Electric. I believe the company cares about these not only internally, but also with our suppliers and customers. The company makes us always aware of the values and, as leaders, we are an example of these. We are encouraged to be consistent with what we say and do.
For me, that’s what’s different about Schneider, what attracts you and makes you want to stay here. You can see the consistency when you stand on the shop floor and see firsthand the values implemented. Teamwork, transparency, inclusion and respect for diversity are values that stand out in my daily work.
