She has a track record of strategic business development gained from 15+ years’ experience in engineering, marketing, sales, strategy, and management. She has worked across the energy sector in electrical distribution, mission-critical, manufacturing, and construction industries.
As the Director of Customer Segment for Schneider Electric N.A., Shannon manages the channel's U.S. P&L and leads the Energy Management business through the electrical original equipment manufacturer (eOEM) client base, contributing to topline energy management business. In an earlier role, Shannon established the first comprehensive channel program for eOEM customers in North America. She collaborated within a multidisciplinary group to deliver customer-focused benefits and initiatives that increased engagement, retention, and brand loyalty to Schneider Electric products.
Shannon also serves on Schneider Electric Black Professional Employee Resource Group's steering committee and drove strategic initiatives such as a partnership with Nashville Public Television (NPT) and the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE).
Before joining Schneider Electric, Shannon worked at Caterpillar, Inc. where she secured the company's first global data center account and led a retail-marketing program that tripled monthly generator sales in the LatAm region.
Shannon holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Florida A&M University - Florida State University College of Engineering, an M.B.A. from Washington State University, and a Women in Executive Leadership Certificate from Cornell University. She belongs to the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), and the National Society of Black Engineers.
