Mourad Tamoud serves as the executive vice president of the Global Supply Chain organization for Schneider Electric. Mourad’s role includes responsibility for Operations, Transformation, Logistics and Network Design, and the facilitation of the overall supply chain community including the business supply chain leadership. In this capacity, Mourad drives the strategic agenda for the organization where we have made significant investments that have yielded positive returns for the Group. He has a passion for the customer and is well versed in how supply chains must evolve in the future to serve as growth engines and keep Schneider competitive. In 2012, Mourad was appointed SVP, GSC China Operations, where he oversaw manufacturing and distribution center operations in support of the region. He also had overall responsibility for safety, quality, customer satisfaction, procurement, and supply chain planning operations. A Schneider Electric veteran of 24 years, Mourad has held positions in Low Voltage and Medium Voltage Industrial Operations, Industrial Strategy, Manufacturing Logistics, Production & Logistics, Procurement, and ERP Information Systems. Mourad holds degrees from Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble.
