Early this month we completed the first leg of our Xperience Efficiency 2013 tour, a new event that showcases the breadth and depth of Schneider Electric’s offerings for driving energy efficiency.

Schneider is a huge company, with sales of more than $31 billion in 2012 and 140,000+ employees in more than 100 countries. While our roots date to the steel industry of the 19th century, today we’re all about energy efficiency.

The Xperience Efficiency event is intended to showcase the many ways in which Schneider Electric can help customers address their energy requirements. As Marc Sherman, our Senior Vice President of Marketing for North America says in a video he taped at the event in Washington, D.C., the event shows how Schneider enables customers to get a view of the entire energy landscape, from supply side to demand to sustainability.

We can also help you turn energy into an asset, one that can create jobs and save you money on your energy bill, money that can then be given back to the company and used to focus on core business goals.

As Marc says, when people walk through the Marketplace at Xperience Efficiency, they are often surprised at what we have to offer. In one area you’ll learn about our Power & Transport business, which includes power management, electrical distribution, smart mobility and our EVlink charging stations that are helping power a new generation of electric vehicles. There’s also an Energy & Infrastructure area where you can learn about substation and feeder automation, wind and hydropower, pipeline management systems and our Energy Management and Control Systems.

The list goes on and on, with Marketplace areas dedicated to our solar, smart grid and smart cities, data centers, residential, federal government, residential businesses and more.

These days, as Marc makes clear in his interview, customers don’t just want products; they want solutions, meaning packaged product and service offerings that address real problems. Xperience Efficiency makes clear that Schneider has developed a series of solutions that help companies not only collect lots of data about their energy use, but effectively analyze it, make it actionable and even predictive. In short, we can help companies become smarter about their energy use, and save them money in the process.

The next stop for Xperience Efficiency is Dallas on June 18, 19 and 20.  In addition to the Marketplace area, we’ll have more than 30 breakout sessions on topics in four tracks:

  • Technology & Innovation
  • Systems & Solutions
  • Energy & Sustainability Services
  • Market & Trends

What’s more, we’ll have keynote speakers including former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Roger Staubach and former Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison, among others. Click here to learn more and to register.  We hope to see you in Dallas.
