Will Shippee is a renewable energy and Internet-of-Things (IoT) expert with 16 years of combined business development, sales, and strategic partnership experience. Will started his career in 2005 “on-the-roof” building some of the first residential and commercial solar PV systems in the SF Bay Area. From there Will moved into business development and sales where he consulted for several OEMs in the renewable energy space. As managing broad portfolios of energy assets became more challenging Will shifted his focus to developing and bringing to market system monitoring and control systems based on new IoT and edge device technologies. After joining Schneider in 2019 Will leads go-to-market strategy and business development for our strategic solar partners such as Sunpower and Sunrun.
