Stephen Apple
Steve started his career as an Automotive Engineer- crashing cars into the wall for General Motors- later evolving to durability testing. He entered the world of instrumentation and control in mineral processing, evolving to Chemical and Refining process and process control.
Steve served on the ISA 18.2 Committee, co-authoring the section on advanced alarming and is a member of the ISA 101 Committee. Today he works for Schneider Electric and is the Global Director of Operator Performance Services. Schneider Electric addresses Situational Awareness as a function of human factors design.
