Robert Bunger

Robert Bunger is the innovation product owner within the CTO office at Schneider Electric. In his 25 years at Schneider Electric, he has held management positions in customer service, technical sales, offer management, business development and across industry associations at the forefront of technological advances.

Rob has been at the cutting-edge of data center-related research, helping to establish the industry’s first environmental sustainability framework. Recently, Rob has contributed to the development of new tools and research reports that have enabled enterprise operators to fully quantify, model and develop strategies to address Scope 3 emissions.

During his tenure with APC (formerly American Power Conversion), and Schneider Electric, Rob has lived and worked in the US, Europe, and China. Prior to joining APC, he was a commissioned officer in the US Navy Submarine force, and has achieved a BS in Computer Science from the US Naval Academy, alongside an MS in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
