Paco Garcia is a Global Cybersecurity System Architect at Schneider Electric, where he focuses on secure-by-design architectures for digital energy and industrial automation. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering and brings more than 20 years of experience in industrial automation and Industrial Control Systems, having worked with Schneider Electric since 2010.
Over the course of his career, Paco has helped design and implement some of the most advanced thermo-solar and concentrated solar power (CSP) systems, developing strong expertise at the intersection of operational technology, industrial systems, and cybersecurity. In his current role, he supports global customers and internal teams in shaping cybersecurity strategy, reducing cyber risk, and enabling secure digital transformation across industrial environments.
His previous responsibilities have included defining cybersecurity strategy, driving cybersecurity features into product line roadmaps, collaborating with leading partners to strengthen solution security, and advancing Secure Development Lifecycle adoption so that cybersecurity requirements are embedded in every development project.
