Christopher Smith

Christopher Smith has a master's degree in systems and control from the University of NSW and is a Member of the Institution of Engineers Australia. As an electrical engineer working in real-time control and optimization, he manages R&D teams and more recently has been contributing to a larger organization and the integration of multiple automation systems from distinctly different domains, power and process. His work now additionally covers the introduction of IIoT, Industry 4.0 and sustainable automation as it applies to energy efficiency and the relevant plant oriented circular economies. Christopher’s systems and control career now spans at least 45 years.
