Christian Bertrand, in his role as Vice President of IT Business Industrial Solutions, is responsible for the ITB Industrial Solutions global Go To Market strategy.

In this role, Christian will drive SE proven technology within the Industry & Infrastructure applications, leveraging all Schneider-Electric Go To Market, including the management of our Gutor business, providing guidance & leadership to the commercial teams. He will also contribute tothe development of new offers aimed at securing SE thought leadership on industrial applications.

Christian has over 20+ years of industry experience, both among the end users and channels, and a wide knowledge of ET & IT markets. He started off his career with Merlin-Gerin, under the Schneider Electric umbrella in France. Christian also has 18+ years of Global Management experience in his capacity as the Managing Director in Italy, Australia and the Philippines, before becoming after the acquisition of APC, Vice-President for the Middle-East and then Middle-East and Africa, in which he was responsible for investment projects, including acquisitions, new subsidiaries and start-up projects.

Finally, before becoming the ITB VP for Industrial Solutions, Christian was leading the ITB EMEA and then EMEA-APJ Systems and Services activity.

Christian is French, graduated in 1989 with a Masters degree in Business Administration from the Business School of Grenoble, France, and is fluent in 2 other European languages apart from English & French.
