Make a Bold and Disruptive Impact with Schneider Go Green

I consider my Schneider Electric Go Green experience one of the most eye-opening adventures I have ever encountered. It was an inspiring and challenging journey that enabled me to grow my bold idea for a more sustainable future!

Bold and Disruptive Impact

Although Go Green 2020 was virtual because of the pandemic, the whole experience in the competition was amazing! We got a chance to prove ourselves and be a supplier to our Badr plant for plastic waste scrap recycling. For 1 year we recycled up to 10 tons of waste. Afterwards, I got the chance to be employed in Schneider Electric NEAL (North East Africa and Levant) as a Sustainability Impact Project Engineer. This is a job that I’m still enjoying today!

Learn from Schneider mentors

The mentorship process helped me and my team to develop our project feasibility study and energy model. The result was outstanding, the developed energy model was projected to cut Co2 emissions of processing by 22% and reduce costs by 60%. It was great to have technical insights directly from Schneider Electric experts in both the technical and business domains. We also had the chance to have a site visit to Badr factory and meet the director, exploring different ways of collaboration and to use our product. The visit paved the way to be an official supplier to the factory later.

During the mentorship period, we had the chance to be visible on media on different levels, like radio, television, newspapers, and social media. Moreover, having the opportunity to meet with the global team and C-Level of SE leaders was fruitful to get insights and have professional new angles of improvement from this top-notch quality of leaders.

Do you want to make your own bold and disruptive impact?

I highly encourage you to apply for Schneider Electric’s Go Green 2023 edition. From my previous experiences in social entrepreneurship related competitions, I can easily say that Go Green has more perks in the business and technical levels. The competition learning outcomes are valuable and can transform your idea to be scaled up and foster its impact.

Don’t miss the opportunity of going from bold to transformative and disruptive. It is time to put your bold idea into action, it is time to GO GREEN!
