What beats the French Riviera in the summertime? Attending Datacloud – a techoraco brand Global Congress on the French Riviera in the summertime, of course! And this year’s event was just as engaging and productive as ever. As I’ve come to expect, this year’s Datacloud was the perfect opportunity to catch up with industry peers, to exchange on latest developments and technologies, especially as we transition into the AI era and establish ourselves as a dominant force in AI-driven and sustainable data centre infrastructure.
Making an impact
An accurate barometer of progress comes in the form of industry recognition based on our recent achievements, and of course this recognition means a lot to us. And so, you can imagine my pride and satisfaction at accepting, on behalf of Schneider Electric, the prestigious Data Centre Vendor of the Year award at this year’s Datacloud awards ceremony.
Industry recognition at Datacloud
The Datacloud awards jury identified us as the standout data center organization for our achievements over these past twelve months, having made the most telling impact based on their defined criteria:
“This award recognises the achievements of a vendor in the highly competitive cloud and data centre market over the past 12 months, which has significantly supported customers and advanced the entire market through its customer proximity and innovative strength.”
As a company, when we reflect on what we’ve accomplished over this past year, there are many reasons for us to feel satisfied. Notable highlights include:

Driving innovation, sustainability, and partnerships
All of these highlights share a common thread – namely, our pursuit of innovation, sustainability, and industry partnerships. Our success in this push has helped establish us as the clear partner of choice for delivering innovative, sustainable, and scalable AI-ready infrastructure.
Speaking onsite at Datacloud Global Congress in Cannes, my colleague Marc Garner, President of Cloud & Service Providers Segment at Schneider Electric, echoed my pride and enthusiasm around the significance of this latest award:

Also onsite at Cannes, President of the Jury for Datacloud, Carl Roberts explained the rationale as to how and why Schneider Electric has distinguished itself in this category:

Leveraging AI through collaboration
To wrap up, this award is further validation of Schneider Electric leading the way in AI-driven and sustainable data center infrastructure. And while I’m incredibly proud to represent an organization that is at the forefront of this new AI era, we must not rest on our laurels. Our industry has a responsibility to work even more closely together, to leverage the full power of AI as a means of optimizing data center energy efficiency, resiliency and sustainability.
