In this blog post, we hear from Tony Nolan, President of Triton Concepts, on the benefits of the EcoXpert™ Program by Schneider Electric™ and how it helped their company achieve exponential growth over the last two-and-a-half years.

About Triton Concepts

Triton Concepts, a Certified EcoXpert Partner, is an Automation and Energy Management Systems Integrator based in Irvine, California. They are a Licensed Contractor and are also a registered Small Business Enterprise.

Triton Concepts develops solutions that help operate critical systems and manage processes, enabling clients to focus on their core business operations. Their team has extensive industry experience, and they are passionate about providing quality service.

To date, Triton Concepts has partnered with over 100 clients and currently supports some of the most critical facilities in Southern California. Whether it is a pharmaceutical manufacturing site, university laboratory, or hospital operating room, they have the expertise to deliver in critical environments.

What prompted the partnership with Schneider Electric?

The right partners are important, but they are also crucial to our long-term success. They play an important role in developing the products and solutions that we deploy for our clients.

When we founded Triton Concepts, Schneider Electric was the obvious choice as our partner. Not only were they looking to expand their install base in Southern California, but they were also focused on growing the markets in which we intended to build our business. Together, we have a shared vision in our geographic and vertical market focus.

How have you sustained growth over the last 2.5 years?

We focus on building a great team and then trust them to deliver. It’s easy to select the best products but assembling a team that is capable of executing the work and supporting clients is a tougher task. We empower our people by investing in training and providing opportunities for them to gain experience outside their comfort zone. We have found that if our team is constantly developing, then our business continues to evolve at a rapid pace.

What differentiates you from the competition?

Many of our competitors have failed to adapt to the speed of our industry, and we see them working within the confines of systems and processes that are no longer fit for purpose. Technology continues to advance, and clients expect us to react quickly, so we avoid implementing processes that add little value and slow us down.

How has Schneider Electric’s product portfolio helped you achieve success?

We addressed this earlier, but one of the most challenging aspects of our business is building the right team. Schneider Electric’s products lead the industry in terms of functionality and ease-of-use for new users. This has enabled us to quickly train new hires on the EcoStruxure™ platform. Whether we hire a seasoned engineer or industry outsider with no experience, we have utilized the classes within EcoXpert University to develop our team. This is great for productivity, as the ramp-up time for new hires is considerably less than we have experienced with other manufacturers.

Conclusion

We are excited for the future and look forward to our continued partnership with Schneider Electric. There is no doubt Schneider Electric’s EcoXpert Partner Program assisted our launch and helped us make an immediate impact in Southern California.
