With digitization driving rapid change in the commercial real estate industry, systems integrators and EcoXperts are challenged to meet changing customer demands for smart buildings and IoT solutions while reducing complicated design and commissioning timelines and upskilling their employees.   All the while, the global commercial buildings stock continues to grow and will double by 2060, according to Architecture2030.

To meet these challenges and the growing market demand, Schneider Electric is introducing a specialized training path for EcoXperts interested in growing their business in the commercial real estate and smart buildings space.  Schneider Electric integrated solutions are quick to install, and specialized training and digital tools are available to help improve customer satisfaction and reduce time-to-market.

The EcoXpert Real Estate Specialization program is targeted at EcoXperts who have already achieved the BMS badge, but other badges in Connected Power, BMS, Critical Power, Light and Room Control and Access Control are valuable additions.  Specialized trainings will help EcoXperts expand their knowledge and solution delivery capabilities in these areas throughout the real estate value chain, specifically in the area of commercial buildings.

The program currently offers an option for online, self-paced introductory training for any partner who wants to explore our approach to the opportunities in Real Estate and Smart Building projects. The introduction will give our EcoXpert partners the opportunity to get a high-level picture of the opportunity and our value proposition for Real Estate and Smart Building customers.

From there we want to actively engage with those EcoXperts who are looking to take their training to the next level in our 2-day instructor-led training path which is required to complete the specialization. Here we will take a more detailed focus on the segment and customer drivers.  We will deep dive into the solutions and architectures we’ve developed to help our Real Estate and Smart Building customers to increase building asset values and create better human experiences though digitization, occupant well-being and security (including cybersecurity), and through a results-driven emphasis on sustainability and efficiency.

Real Estate Specialized EcoXperts benefit from commercial cooperation at the Segment level for large projects across the full Schneider Electric offer scope including the full suite of EcoStruxure Advisors.  Specialized EcoXperts may have the opportunity to collaborate with Schneider Electric teams for large projects, thus reducing competition and increasing credibility, and they may even see higher close rates/margins and larger project scope.

According to The McKinsey Global Institute estimates, “the world will need to spend $57 trillion on infrastructure by 2030 to keep up with global GDP growth.”  To address this trend, Smart Buildings expertise is a must-have for systems integrators.  Don’t you want to be a part of this growth?  If so, trainings are anticipated to take place in France, Hong Kong, India, Singapore, UK, and the US in the coming months.  To reserve your spot in an upcoming training, please contact me, hugh.lindsay@se.com, and to learn about Schneider Electric’s solutions for real estate and commercial buildings, visit our real estate web page.
