He also provides technical leadership for mission critical projects in IT, financial services, government, and other industry segments.
Sanjeet was previously Regional Technical Director with DSCO Group Pte Ltd who is the Building Services and Critical Systems Engineering Consultants based in Singapore and Hong Kong and has helped build the practice in the mission critical arena.
Mr. Sandhu is a registered Professional Engineer in Singapore.
He has gained over 16 years of experience in Asia in Mechanical and Electrical consulting Engineering and Project Management including extensive experience in the concept and detailed design of numerous projects in Singapore and throughout the South East Asia region, in particular, Industrial Developments and Projects for the Banking, Financial and IT Industry and thus responsible for the performance of a team of engineers and support staff engaged in numerous projects in Singapore and around the region.
Over the years, he has gained experience in the design of maintainable redundant power supplies, precision air-conditioning with humidity control, chilled water plants and reticulation with thermal buffer, pre-action sprinkler systems, early warning smoke detection systems, gas suppression systems and facilities that are designed as a hardened structure against explosion threats that incorporated additional M&E infrastructure to meet the resilience required
.
In April 2007, Sanjeet presented a conference paper at the Middle East Construction Chemicals & Materials Conference in Abu Dhabi, UAE, with the following subject matter:
“General expectations of Mission Critical Environments by International Banks, Financial Sector Institutions and Companies intending to potentially lease space within a commercial development.”
Some of the Data Center Projects where he played a key role in design or review include AIS in Thailand, Faasri Colocation in Indonesia, Barclays Bank DC and trading floor in Indonesia, Equinix co-location facility, Starhub, Visa International, Citibank, UBS Bank, SingTel’s Kim Chuan Telecommunications Complex 2, Global Switch co-location facility, United Overseas Bank, Reuters Asia, BNP Paribas, JPMC, JPMC in Bangalore, Bahrain Financial Harbour Project in Bahrain, Credit Swiss First Boston, Bayerische Hypo-Und Vereinsbank AG and EMC Computer Systems.
