Mr. Tipley is the vice president for industry and government alliances in Schneider Electric’s IT Business, with global responsibilities for influence on industry standards and government regulations. As a founding director of The Green Grid Association, a group with a mission to drive accountable, effective, resource-efficient end-to-end ICT ecosystems, he has spent many years as a board officer and Green Grid content contributor.

In the past he has served as president and chairman of the board for the non-profit PCI-SIG. To date, the US Patent and Trademark Office has granted 22 patents to Mr. Tipley.
