From a technical point of view, Michel participated in the establishment of the first technology programmed into the reactor safety system (nuclear island) to replace analog technology. As a result he worked to drive the replacement of analog to digital technologies in existing plants (neutron flux system and conventional I&C). These experiments were put to use in the field of national defense and especially the Navy and in civilian critical systems (railway as an example).
