Marco is graduated in Electrical Engineering at Politecnico of Turin; after graduation he soon started working in Schneider Electric.
After seven years as Variable Speed Drives Product Manager, his current role Smart Manufacturing Product Manager inside Italy’s organization.
His main task is to promote in Italy the Smart Manufacturing approach by Schneider Electric and to show how our solutions can fit with the so called Piano Industria 4.0, which is a plan defined by the Italian Government to incentivize the investments by private companies in applications related to Industry 4.0.
In addition, he is in charge of collecting the customers’ needs about Smart Manufacturing and Industrial Internet of Things and merging them with best practices already deployed or looking for new ones.

Moreover, Marco is an active member of CEI (Italian Electrotechnical Committee), in National Committee 301/22G about Variable Speed Drives, thus allowing him to be updated about the most recent standards, in particular related to electrical and functional safety, Power Quality and Ecodesign. He is part of the National Committees SC210 NON ITE, SC65B and SC65C as well.
In his role, Marco has the chance to work with people coming from all the different entities of my Company, like Sales, Customer Care, Logistics and Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, Marketing and Communication.
Finally, Marco describes himself as open-minded and willing to promote a more sustainable usage of energy.
