Gianluca has more than 25 years of experience in the chemicals sector both in start-up and corporate domains. He is a Chemical Engineer by background with a MSc in Chemical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, in Italy and a MSc in Economics and Corporate Management from IFP School, in Paris – France.
Gianluca leads the Chemicals segment business development efforts for Schneider. Prior to joining Schneider, Gianluca was Commercial Officer with a UK-based start-up where he drove the industrial partnerships development and the company manufacturing engineering works. Gianluca came to the start-up after spending more than 20 years with a Fortune 500 Chemical Company....

Gianluca came to the start-up after spending more than 20 years with a Fortune 500 Chemical Company. In his most recent assignment, he was the Vice President for Eastern Hemisphere, managing a wide sales organization recognized for its successes and growth. He generated over 300 MM$ of new sales and launched with his team several innovative technologies in the downstream’ additives space. Over the course of his career Gianluca has been living in France, UK, The Netherlands, Singapore and most recently Switzerland.
