Geoff Bladon has worked in all facets of electrical, control system, and automation design and implementation throughout Australia for over 30 years. Geoff is a TUV-certified Functional Safety Engineer, a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland and Victoria (RPEQ, RPEV), registered on the National Engineering Register (NER), and has worked as an expert witness for both the Queensland and Victorian Supreme Courts.
Geoff worked in the design and construction of paper mills prior to taking roles in mining automation and water and wastewater treatment before founding Automation IT in July 2000. Formerly the General Manager of Saunders Automation after being acquired by Saunders, Geoff has been active in the Power generation and electrical supply industry for over 15 years and is a vocal advocate for the Australian Manufacturing sector.
