Didier Fulchiron started his career as test engineer in the high power laboratory of Merlin-Gerin. Afterwards, he went through several positions in the design teams for MV switchgear, and also spent some years as product manager for utilities protection relays and RTUs. These positions brought him many opportunities to discuss with users, and to write technical communications.
He became involved in standardisation late in the 90's, and this part of the job took more and more importance along the years.
