Carsten Baumann
Carsten Baumann is Director of Strategic Initiatives & Solution Architect at Schneider Electric. In his role, he helps clients define their industrial IoT and microgrid initiatives in the commercial & industrial and data center markets. He is dedicated to helping customers achieve greater resiliency, reach sustainability objectives and gain economic benefits. Prior to this role, Carsten supported the consulting and engineering community by advising on resource-optimized energy management solutions in the data center market. His background includes nearly three decades of experience in the data center, broadcast, telecommunications, AV and IT industries.
Carsten also served as President of AFCOM SoCal, and is a member of iMasons. He holds an electrical engineering degree from the Theodor-Litt-Schule in Giessen, Germany.
