Dr. Bin Lu is Global Senior Vice President of Data Center Systems and Prefabricated Modular Data Centers at Schneider Electric. In this role, he leads the global businesses of Three-Phase Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPSs) and Prefabricated Modular Data Centers, part of the Secure Power Division. In addition to setting the strategic direction for the business and offer roadmap, his responsibilities include: R&D, engineering, offer management, sales, marketing, and operations. He is passionate about delivering customer-oriented, innovative and sustainable solutions for the data centers.

Dr. Bin Lu is Global Senior Vice President of Data Center Systems and Prefabricated Modular Data Centers at Schneider Electric. In this role, he leads the global businesses of Three-Phase Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPSs) and Prefabricated Modular Data Centers, part of the Secure Power Division. Prior to this role, Dr. Lu was the Vice President of Offer Creation & Marketing and Vice President of Global Engineering of Home & Business Networks. Before joining Schneider Electric, he was Executive Director of International Wind Turbine Products at Envision Energy, and Global Technology Director of Electric Systems Technologies at Eaton Corporation, holding various leadership roles in the United States and China.

Dr. Bin Lu has a B.Eng. Degree in Automation from Tsinghua University in China, and Ph.D. Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in US, respectively. He holds 19 US patents and is an External Advisory Board member at Georgia Tech’s College of Engineering.
