Anil Kumar is in the Global Major Pursuits organization of Schneider Electric Process Automation division and is responsible for business development activities with EPCs in APAC region. Anil Kumar is in the Global Major Pursuits organization of Schneider Electric Process Automation division and is responsible for business development activities with EPCs in APAC region. Anil has been with Schneider Electric for more than 27(+2) years and has taken up various sales and operational roles in these years.

Prior to his current role, Anil held the position of Vice President, Delivery Operations for Asia Pacific and was responsible to oversee all the projects and services that were delivered by local business units within APAC region. Anil had assumed other management roles in the region prior to this, whereby he had responsibility to oversee the execution of projects with combined portfolio of products and services such as Foxboro I/A System DCS, Triconex safety systems, SCADA systems, and Advanced applications including SMSCI Escor products.

Anil brings along vast experience through various multi-national mega projects, in particular, LNG projects executed out of Singapore. He has delivered many large-scale automation projects: 16 LNG trains, 3 Gas plants, 1 Refinery complex and 2 Chemical complexes, 1 Power plant, including world’s first Integrated Controls and Information management system (ICIMS) for LNG complex at Qatar.

Anil has worked with many major EPCs like JGC, Chiyoda, Technip, Bechtel, Toyo, Samsung, Snamprogetti, etc. and End-users like Exxon Mobil, Shell, RasGas, Petronas, Total, Brunei LNG, etc. over the years in the operations and has gained valuable insights to the work methods of these customers and ability to address the challenges posted in delivering high value services to these customers.

Anil holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from University of Mysore in India and an MBA from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow (UK). In addition he holds the title of PMP (Project Management Professional) from Project Management Institute, USA
