Andries Habraken is a physicist with over 25 years of experience in the glass industry and high-temperature process optimization. He began his career at TNO, the Dutch research institute, as a computer modeling engineer. When TNO Glass Group transitioned to CelSian Glass & Solar in 2012, Andries advanced to Segment leader for the Process Optimization team, managing customers worldwide. His extensive experience includes new builds, rebuilds, and optimization of glass furnaces across all segments. He has authored more than 15 papers for conferences and journals and is frequently invited to speak at conferences and conduct workshops on various glass-related topics....

Currently, Andries works at Schneider Electric as a solution architect for the glass industry, leveraging his expertise to help reduce energy usage and CO2 emissions and transition to green solutions.
