Celebrating 25 years of impact: A remarkable year for the Foundation 

We are wrapping up a truly remarkable year of 25^th anniversary celebrations for Schneider Electric Foundation.

This milestone has been a testament to our unwavering commitment to fostering positive change and supporting innovative projects worldwide. Throughout the year, we have engaged in numerous activities that highlight our dedication to empowering youth and driving sustainable development. 

From the East to the West: A global celebration through impact 

As part of the #25YearsYoung Campaign, our Foundation has been bustling with activities.

One of the highlights was the closure of our “Youth Innovation for a Sustainable Future” Call for Projects, co-led with Ashoka. This initiative received an astonishing response, with over 350 applications from youth-serving NGOs across 65 countries on five continents, and a 50,000-euro prize will be awarded to the winning project “Youth Champion Award” and will benefit from increased visibility across the social media channels. This global campaign was amplified locally, thanks to the invaluable contributions of our Foundation Delegates and all the people involved in the campaign. 

In addition to this, we celebrated our 25th anniversary with a series of events and campaigns that showcased our impact over the years. Our Leaders & Employees had the chance to share their personal volunteering experiences through the #ImpactChainChallenge, with great presence inside and outside Schneider Electric, which prove that volunteering is in our DNA.  

Giving Tuesday, now a tradition in Schneider Electric, keeps engaging many people in more than 65 countries and stands as a powerful reminder to #volunteer not just today, but throughout the entire year and beyond. Since 2017, over 28,000 employees have dedicated 66,000+ volunteer days to community initiatives, inspiring others to unite with us in fostering positive change.

And to close on celebrations, the “Tomorrow Rising” web series, now in its second season, will continue to share powerful testimonies from young people in Mexico, Peru, Egypt, Indonesia & France. The upcoming season, set to be released in 2025, is a testament to the global impact of our Foundation around the world. Stay tuned!

The past 25 years have laid a strong foundation, and we are eager to build on this legacy. Ever optimistic, the Schneider Electric Foundation envisions a future where its efforts continue to inspire and empower the next generation of leaders and innovators towards a #JustTransition.  

As we look around, we can see that there’s still work to be done. But together with our incredible team of volunteers, partners and leaders we rest assured that the next 25 years will be full of positive impact, one mentoring session at a time, one new access to energy at a time.   

The Giving Season serves as a poignant reminder to give back and inspire others to join in creating positive change. Together, let’s carry this spirit of generosity, igniting more change and touching more lives as we step into the next chapter of giving and sharing.
