“We won an award! Thank you!”
We didn’t win an Oscar, but we did win the equally prestigious 2021 Frost & Sullivan best practices company of the Year Award in safety instrumented systems. This is Frost & Sullivan’s top honor and recognizes the company that exemplifies visionary innovation, market-leading performance, and unmatched customer care.
Winning awards isn’t easy
Now it didn’t come easy. The Frost & Sullivan experts rigorously performed a detailed evaluation of best practices across two dimensions:
They thoroughly researched and investigated our vision and understanding of the future, how we are effectively addressing new challenges and opportunities. Innovation and growth were at the forefront of their research with a key focus on continuously innovating and creating new products and solutions. This is where our Tricon™ CX safety instrumented system, Triconex™ Safety Validator and Triconex™ Safety View software applications stood out as great examples of visionary innovation and performance, and customer impact.
“Schneider Electric is at the forefront of providing a suite of SIS hardware controllers and software applications that help clients achieve higher safety, efficiency, and cost-efficiency, unmatched by the competition.”
– Maksym Beznosiuk, Best Practices Research Analyst
Hard work does pay off
Once we got through the hard work and heavy lifting of the research, if I’m honest, I was feeling a little drained, tired, even relieved!
But then, if you are lucky, you get to hear the magic words “You have won!” In the short term, you revel in the immense satisfaction of being recognized for the long hours, the hard work, the desire, the enthusiasm the team has put in.
But it’s the long-lasting effect that such an award has that often goes unnoticed. It puts a spring back in the step. It Invigorates and inspires us all to keep improving and wanting to do better. It confirms that the desire, the passion, the personal commitment is worth the effort. Every time we walk past the award, it reminds us that there is value in our efforts.
And finally, I would like to thank… you!
Like many award acceptance speeches, there is always a long list of people to thank. It goes without saying that this is a great recognition of the team effort across the entire Triconex value chain (not just Schneider Electric employees including sales, technical sales consultants, proposals, engineering, services, technical support, R&D, QA, supply chain, manufacturing, finance, product management, marketing… I could go on and apologize if I missed anyone), but also our partners.
But the biggest thank you goes to our true heroes – our clients who rely every day on us to protect their people, production assets, and profit. They work closely with us to ensure that we build and develop solutions to serve their ever-evolving needs and are the reason we do what we do.
“At the heart of Schneider Electric’s success story is its determination to meet and exceed diverse customer needs.”
– Maksym Beznosiuk, Best Practices Research Analyst
And of course, thank you to Frost & Sullivan for both investing the time and effort to perform such a rigorous and challenging analysis and for recognizing our constant desire to deliver profitable safety to our clients.
