The Indian electrical industry is multifaceted, assembling an array of items which run from powerful innovation equipment to low innovation electrical parts. After all, the electrical business is a work-intensive sector, giving direct work and employment to a sizeable percentage of the country’s population. It is common that such a remarkable and pervasive industry has sub-categories as well. A contactor can be explained as an electrically-controlled switch, essentially used for switching an electrical power circuit. A contactor is generally controlled by a circuit that has a significantly lower power level than the respective switched circuit.

The initial concept of a protective relay was implemented in electromagnetic devices, depending on coils operating in moving parts to initiate the tripping of a circuit breaker in extraordinary operating conditions – over-current, over-voltage, reverse power flow, over-frequency, and under-frequency.
