Find Time-Saving Contactor Assemblies with New Technical Guide

Time and space are two of the biggest hurdles faced by electrical designers working for machine builders. Developing control systems for the many machines that have become vital elements in our industrial and commercial facilities is a deadline-driven activity. And limited “real estate” – whether in terms of panel space or room within constrained control boxes – means connections need to be neat and tight, and support easy and fast assembly.  A new Schneider Electric technical guide offers designers easy-to-access information on TeSys products designed with these challenges in mind.

Control Panel Technical Guide“How to Quickly Design Optimized Contactor Assemblies” is the 11th in our collection of control panel technical guides, and it was developed as a result of our many conversations with our customers. We’ve learned that, while these designers are often quite familiar with our TeSys control products, in general, they don’t always know as much about the broad range of accessories and kits included in the line. This new technical guide focuses on options to optimize the assembly of:

  • Star delta motor starters
  • Motor reversers
  • Speed control
  • Source and load changers

While these time- and space-saving components are covered in our general catalog, this guide reorganizes the information into a more useful structure, and provides added detail on functions. It addresses fully pre-cabled solutions and monoblock assemblies, along with components and kits designed for customer assembly, all based on TeSys K, D and F contactors.

The guide is organized to offer users two ways to find information on the products they need – by application and by contactor type. Additionally, a complete index by catalog number makes it easy to go right to the information you need.
