    All that, and 1. Also having all subsystems being monitored and controlled and viewed by one central system is good for providing proof of needed upgrades to one or more subsystems in order to handle the volume, load, or throughput and return on investment workups to the Vice President when you see that your data center needs an ugrade which will need to be approved and budgeted and funded. 2. And a central monitoring system is good for assigning specific items to your employees to perform or to monitor or report back to you about, so you’re able to verify that everything is going well on a dialy basis. You can make your slogan be “Your finger on the pulse of your Data Center – Now”. Right ?

  • I agree with your comment Howard, integrating systems enables better maintenance and enhanced troubleshooting. Reduction in installation and upgrade costs are definitely added advantage when integrating software and it gives more flexibility to be vendor and protocol independent.
