The Perfect Server-Room-in-a-Box for Healthcare Clinics

Last year, we posted a few blogs about the NetShelter CX, also known as the “server-room-in-a-box,” which is optimal for small healthcare clinics because it looks like a piece of office furniture and muffles about 90% of the noise coming from the servers inside.

At the Interop 2014 event in Las Vegas, Debbie Dailey, Business Development Specialist, was interviewed about the NetShelter CX, where she goes over the features and benefits as well as some anecdotes about it also being snake-proof!

In the interview, Debbie gave a virtual tour of the CX, showing how the side doors swing open and even come completely off if you like, making it quite easy to get at any equipment inside. She explains that it comes with an integrated PDU and cable management system, which holds some 300 Cat 5 cables. The NetShelter CX also comes on caster wheels, making it easy to move about if need be – a particularly nice feature for healthcare clinics that are limited on space and prone to renovations. There’s also an optional lock-down kit if you’d prefer that it stay put.

Dailey briefly mentions some recently announced options, including a fan booster kit that enables you to increase the thermal capacity of the enclosure, and an entry handle that supports card readers for added security.

Check out the video to see the NetShelter CX for yourself. Seeing is believing.
