I started my career at Andersen Consulting (1992) and at the Department of Computer Science, University Autonomous of Barcelona, teaching and contributing to parallel processing investigations while completing the Master in Computer Architecture.
Then, I served as Information Technology Director at the eCommerce and Direct Marketing Federation (FECEMD) my first touchpoint with a “newcomer” digital marketing and as Systems Director and co-founder for the start-up Secretariaplus.com, a truly dotcom experience!
During 12 years at Sant Cugat del Valles (Barcelona) Municipality, I was in charge of the first real Smart Street deployment and the Smart City Strategic plan, involving industrial partners and society stakeholders.
In 2013, I joined Schneider Electric to lead their international Smart City Center of Excellence. From 2015 till 2019 I have been the Marketing and Communication director for Spain and Portugal and member of the Iberian Board.
