Johanne Greenwood is director of the Smart Cities Program for Schneider Electric, the global specialist in energy management and automation. In the early part of her career she worked in software development and project management for distribution management systems of large electrical networks. She led creation of Energy University, a free online e-learning resource which took first prize in Learning Category in the European Commission Sustainable Energy Europe Award. Today, Johanne focuses on Smart Cities and supports cross-functional teams in countries around the world to collaborate with cities and partners to build and achieve their vision of cities that are efficient, livable and sustainable. She enjoys travel and has a lot of opinions about hotel room designs and multi-modal travel apps.
