Friedrich Richter is the Managing Director of ProLeiT GmbH, a business recently acquired by Schneider Electric. ProLeiT develops and implements automation control Software in the fields of F&B, Life science and Chemicals. Friedrich has full P&L responsibility and is in charge of a team of 600+ employees across 10+ countries.

Before that, Friedrich led the global strategy for the industrial automation business, which provides Schneider Electric customers with software and automation solutions to help them on their journeys towards digital transformation and sustainability. In this responsibility, he drove the strategic plan for the industrial automation business, including M&A and partnerships strategy....

Friedrich is a former Strategy Consultant from McKinsey & Company, where he advised clients across advanced manufacturing and high tech industries on growth strategy and tactics, marketing, sales, and M&A activities.

Friedrich started his career in the telecommunications equipment industry, where he held various management positions in pre-sales and product management with Alcatel-Lucent.

Friedrich holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Master of Sciences in Energy and Telecommunications from Centrale-Supelec.
