Ellen Kotzbauer is a 20-year veteran of Schneider Electric and has held numerous engineering, manufacturing and marketing positions in the company. In her current role as Segment manager, US Federal Government, she is responsible for defining and executing the marketing strategy for that segment across all lines of the Schneider Electric business. Ellen Kotzbauer is a 20-year veteran of Schneider Electric and has held numerous engineering, manufacturing and marketing positions in the company. In her current role as Segment manager, US Federal Government, she is responsible for defining and executing the marketing strategy for that segment across all lines of the Schneider Electric business. Through ongoing collaboration with federal energy, IT and facilities professionals she has cultivated a deep appreciation of their mission, goals and challenges. During her 5 years in this role, Ellen has co-authored two white papers: “Enacting a Lifecycle Approach to Energy Management in Federal Facilities” and “Guide for Reducing Data Center Physical Infrastructure Energy Consumption in Federal Data Centers”. She participates in several industry associations including Society of the American Military Engineer, Energy Facilities Contractors Group, Association of Energy Engineers, and Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association. She holds a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering from Northwestern University and is a certified Business Energy Professional (BEP).
