Carlos Villa is Vice President of the Industry Business for Schneider Electric in the United States. In this role, he leads an empowered team responsible for a comprehensive portfolio of hardware and software solutions and services for plant operators, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and machine users in manufacturing and other industrial environments.

Carlos Villa is Vice President of the Industry Business for Schneider Electric in the United States. In this role, he leads an empowered team responsible for a comprehensive portfolio of hardware and software solutions and services for plant operators, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and machine users in manufacturing and other industrial environments.

Mr. Villa oversees the continued development of Schneider Electric’s digitally-enabled solutions and national network of distribution partners supporting industrial customers. Mr. Villa has been integral in furthering the Company’s approach to making industry more connected by leveraging EcoStruxure – Schneider Electric’s Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT)-enabled, open and interoperable system architecture that delivers enhanced value around safety, reliability, efficiency, sustainability and connectivity.

Mr. Villa joined Schneider Electric as Industry Vice President, Mexico, in December 2014. One year later his responsibilities expanded to also include oversight of the Country’s EcoBuilding Business. Leveraging IIoT-connectivity, EcoBuildings provides the products and management systems for intelligent buildings that inspire occupant productivity and deliver optimal energy and operational efficiency.

Prior to joining Schneider Electric, he spent 17 years with Rockwell Automation, developing high performance teams in the areas of Sales and Business Management across different geographies, including Mexico, Brazil, North America and Asia Pacific.

Mr. Villa holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso.
