We’re proud to share that Schneider Electric UK has been recognised as one of the Best Places to Work in the UK by Glassdoor. This award reflects a multi year journey, listening to our teams and customers, to build an inclusive, caring and fun place to work! Here’s a closer look at what we’ve been working on.

Teamwork: Winning & Celebrating Together
Teamwork is at the core of our success. We celebrate our achievements together, whether through our annual prestigious Zone President Awards, quarterly Zone Legends recognition or a significant uptake in our share schemes enabling our employees to have a vested stake in our business growth. Our high recognition velocity, which is the second highest globally on Step Up (our internal recognition platform), not only highlights our commitment to celebrating our employees’ contributions but also emphasizes our dedication to rewarding them for their hard work.
Inclusion & Social Impact
We’re passionate about making a positive impact on society, and we live this day-to-day. In fact, our employees actively engage in paid volunteering and charity work, which is supported by our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and local community programmes. Furthermore, sustainability is woven into everything we do; therefore, we ensure our actions today contribute to a better tomorrow.
Meaningful Benefits for Our People
We know how important it is to provide employee benefits that reflect our culture and values and truly support our employees. In the last 2 years we have prioritised; investing in healthcare and well-being, expanding private healthcare to all employees. Within family leave; offering top quartile leave to care for family at all generations, whilst walking the talk in sustainability providing a fully electrified car fleet.
Career & Development
We’re committed to fostering career growth and development for all our employees. Specifically, through our annual Career Festival, our approach is tailored by generation. Moreover, we place a strong focus on attracting early career talent while also valuing the experience of seasoned professionals. As a result, this holistic approach ensures that everyone has the opportunity to grow and succeed.

Brilliant Basics
Consistency, fairness, and transparency are the cornerstones of our employee experience. We’re always striving to improve, as shown by +16 NPS employee satisfaction improvement in the last 2 years through initiatives like Welcome Days (which help new employees feel valued and integrated from day one).
I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved together. This recognition by Glassdoor is not just a testament to our commitment and programmes, but to the great people who bring our values to life every day.
