Enhanced Global Family Leave Policy empowers us to get more time when it matters

We are really happy to hear that the Global Family Leave Policy has been enhanced, and we are able to benefit from it. It definitely helped us to better balance our work and life, particularly during some significant times.  

Welcoming a child into your family is a tremendous occasion. It is important to have time to step out of work and get more time for key moments in life. We believe that it is essential for a company to establish a family-friendly environment within workplaces in order to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Hence, family leave is a key element in supporting our needs by providing peace of mind, workplace flexibility, and paid time off. We are happy and proud to be part of an inclusive and caring company that can support us to balance competing work and family.  

This year, we are excited to hear that the company has refreshed the Global Family Leave Policy. You may wonder, what has been updated?  

With Global Family Leave Policy 2.0, the number of paid times increased for parental and care leave, compared to when it was first launched in 2017. We are able to enjoy the extra time off to better take care of, not only ourselves, but also our loved ones. 

  • Primary Parental Leave: Increased from 12 weeks to 20 weeks paid 
  • Secondary Parental Leave: Increased from 2 weeks to 4 weeks paid 
  • Care Leave: Increased from 1 week to 2 weeks paid
