Climate change is the defining global challenge of our era. It affects all of us, irrespective of age, gender, race or income, and already we can observe its dire consequences – just look at the severe heatwaves and droughts affecting communities across the world. If we don’t act now, such extreme weather events will only grow more common and more disruptive in the future.
According to the Paris Climate Agreement, we need to limit global warming to well below 2, and preferably to 1.5 degree Celsius, in order to achieve a climate neutral world. This requires global greenhouse gas emissions to peak before 2025 at the latest, and reduce by 43% by 2030.

Echo Zhang, SVP, China HR, China
Echo Zhang heads up HR strategy and operations for the China region. A Schneider Electric stalwart of more than 14 years, she pioneered the three-pillar HR model in the Asia Pacific region and has more recently led the China HR team in establishing an agile organization and innovation culture to accelerate digital transformation. Under her leadership, Schneider China’s HR function has evolved into a strategic enabler to support business growth.
Diana Chen, Associate Principal – Sustainability Business, Hong Kong
Diana Chen is the Associate Principal of Schneider Electric’s Sustainability Business in Hong Kong. She advises and helps enterprises to deliver on climate change mitigation actions and decarbonization through consulting and digital solutions. She currently leads the development of the Sustainability Business in Hong Kong. Prior to joining Schneider Electric, Diana was the Sustainability Advisor at The Purpose Business, leading sustainability strategy development projects for companies spanning the real estate, finance, hospitality, retail and conglomerate industries.
