The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), cloud services, mobility, enterprise APM and remote monitoring are just some of the trending topics you’ve no doubt heard a lot about this year. Big data and Internet of Things (IoT) applications have enabled significant reliability, safety and performance improvements in the industrial sector. Learn more about how we’ve embraced these advancements in 2015 and how we will continue to help our customers gain the greatest return on their assets throughout 2016.

Change the Way

Our customers continue to be our first priority and we were able to celebrate new customer wins as well as expansion within our existing customer base, including the following:

You can learn more about these projects in the News Room of the Schneider Electric Software website.

This year, we introduced several new enhancements to our Avantis PRiSM, Wonderware eDNA and Wonderware EBS solutions, some highlights and plans for next year are below:

  • PRiSM updates included a new internal alert management workflow, asset health ranking for better maintenance prioritization, and case management for capturing open issues, tracking results and easily communicating findings. Users can expect new asset health scoring capabilities, calculation engine improvements and support for HTML 5.
  • eDNA enhancements included symmetric redundancy updates for improved data replication and faster historical syncs between redundant nodes and HTML 5 for eDNA Web, which enables display on mobile devices and non-Windows desktops.
  • A new Budget Module was added to the EBS product that allows greater flexibility when tracking, reporting and budgeting utility cost and consumption data at the building or commodity level.

In addition, we worked on integrating these products with the rest of the Schneider Electric software portfolio including native integration with the Wonderware SmartGlance App for accessing KPI data and reports – anywhere, anytime and from any device. Integration with other Schneider Electric Software products will continue to be a focus in 2016.

Another major focus in 2016 will be on expanding our remote analytic services through our Monitoring & Diagnostics Services Center (MDSC) in Chicago. The MDSC provides comprehensive remote monitoring and diagnostics services, including model training, diagnostics, best practices and improvement recommendations.
