// There is no doubt that the electric utility industry is dealing with changes that were unanticipated even a few years ago. Stop for a moment and consider how much the state of the industry has changed in recent years:

I am very glad to see the emphasis on education and awareness raising of consumers in your article.
The discussion here in UK has focussed too much on the technical fix and financial motivation which is only half -or less – of the story.
We recycle trash altruistically, so why not time shift our electricity demand?
