Jeg vil sætte fokus på mennesker, team spirit og samarbejde

As the new Vice President in the Building department at Schneider Electric Denmark, it is important for me to introduce you to which areas I will focus on in the near future.

My name is Gustav Gustavsson Klippel. I am 35 years old and have 12 years of experience at Schneider Electric. I am a Swedish citizen, I live in Sweden with my family and I am a football geek right down to the tips of my toes.

I believe that comfort is the key to happy employees and higher levels of performance. My focus in the future will therefore be that we at Schneider Electric work to improve comfort in all buildings. This implies an optimal indoor climate, including light, smell, moisture, access, CO 2 and other air particles.

An open system that can collect data from several sources will make it possible to improve the comfort in your building. It ranges from access control to an app that can guide you to your place, welcome you and customize your user access. In addition, I take pride in supporting the Danish energy policy, and helping to ensure that buildings are opened up to the flexible energy system of the future as an active player in reducing the emission of greenhouse gases. In order to ensure this as well as better comfort and at the same time achieve energy savings, digitization is necessary.

Digitization is the key to success

Buildings do not become intelligent by themselves. Digitization, in interaction with open systems, is the alpha and omega for us to be able to tailor building solutions that suit just you.

It is therefore important that we collect and analyze all the sensor data that is already available in your building. With that data, we can predict and stay ahead of potential future energy and comfort-related challenges before they develop into potential problems for your business. And in collaboration, we can create energy savings, reduce maintenance costs and help you prioritize your most important tasks.

I mean concretely that we can optimize buildings by working with these 3 things:

People:
As the new Vice President, it is important for me to be allowed to work with different people – to develop and strengthen our skills for your benefit. In this way, I believe that we can create value both internally and externally.

Team spirit:
With my background in the world of football, it is also important for me to bring this into play in my professional everyday life. Team spirit and a sense of community are therefore a large part of my identity.
I am a team player with a capital T. And convinced that if we take on tasks as a group, we can compliment each other’s strengths and weaknesses, which gives better results. I am sure that relationships and cooperation can create better solutions for both us and you.

Collaboration:
We must communicate and collaborate with each other – this does not only apply internally at Schneider Electric. My vision is to create a bridge between our innovative solutions and your challenges to the benefit of both us, you and the flexible energy system of the future.
