Every conversation about the future of energy and industry now runs through artificial intelligence: predictive maintenance, autonomous optimization, real-time energy management, digital twins, and models that reason based on physical systems.
The opportunity is enormous and the stakes are high. But there is a condition attached to all of it, and it is one we think must not be overlooked.
Intelligence can only be trusted when its digital foundations can be trusted.
That belief has shaped how we build the EcoStruxure Platform from the start, and it is why a recent milestone matters.
We are proud to announce that the EcoStruxure Platform has achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification. This is an important milestone that independently validates our commitment to information security and operational excellence. The certification covers the EcoStruxure Platform’s engineering and operational activities, recognizing the maturity of our Information Security Management System.
We mention it here not to celebrate a certificate, but because of what it represents for the harder question everyone in our field is wrestling with: how do you make intelligence at scale something customers can actually rely on?

How the EcoStruxure Platform powers energy & industrial intelligence
Our energy technology vision starts with a clear digital strategy. It creates a foundation that connects every layer of the energy world, from the edge to the cloud. That’s the role of EcoStruxure.
EcoStruxure goes beyond connectivity. It delivers intelligence at scale by combining operational, enterprise, and energy data with deep domain expertise across buildings, data centers, industry, and infrastructure.
At the core is the Data Cube. It captures and structures data from intelligent devices, edge control, and enterprise applications. It also applies models that reflect real electrical and physical relationships.
Built on this foundation, advanced AI and simulation deliver predictive, prescriptive, and increasingly autonomous outcomes.
As we advance Energy & Industrial Intelligence, one principle guides us: innovation can only scale when customers trust the platform behind it.
Secure by design, governed by default
Our goal has been to create a platform where cybersecurity, data governance, privacy, resilience, and customer value are embedded into every decision.
ISO 27001 certification is an external validation of that commitment. It reflects years of investment in secure-by-design engineering, operational rigor, risk management, and continuous improvement.
The part that doesn’t show up on the certificate
We would be doing our teams a disservice if we made this sound like a technical outcome. Certifications like this are earned by people, and they are never a one-and-done achievement. They demand an ongoing investment of time, discipline, and resources sustained over years.
Engineers, architects, cybersecurity specialists, risk and data officers, and operations teams made this milestone possible.
They put customer trust, resilience, and responsible data management at the center of their work.
Processes provide structure. People bring those values to life.
More than any single control, this culture builds a trustworthy platform and trusted AI.
Building trusted energy & industrial intelligence
As the world moves toward increasingly connected, intelligent, and autonomous ecosystems, our customers expect both innovation and assurance. The EcoStruxure Platform is designed to deliver both. Providing a trusted digital foundation for energy and industrial intelligence while maintaining the highest standards of cybersecurity and information protection.
ISO 27001 certification is an important milestone, but it is not the destination. It is another step in our ongoing mission to build digital platforms that customers can trust today – and that are ready for the challenges of tomorrow.
