Jeannie Salo

Jeannie Salo is Vice President for Global Digital Public Policy at Schneider Electric where she leads global trade policy and associated regional government affairs strategies in North America, Europe, and Asia. In her role, Jeannie regularly engages with government officials, regulators, industry associations and think tanks to mitigate risk and advance a more stable, predictable, and prosperous trade policy environment. She currently serves as the International Chair of the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI) China Committee. Prior to joining Schneider Electric, Jeannie led International Corporate Strategy and International Government Affairs at Eli Lilly & Company which was preceded by a successful career in government. She served in the U.S. Senate as a senior foreign relations advisor and at the U.S. Department of State as a Foreign Affairs Officer on regional security and policy affairs. During that career, Jeannie staffed multiple congressional delegations all over the world and supported key US negotiations. Jeannie lives in Washington, DC with her husband and three sons. She received her Master’s Degree from The Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University and her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Texas at Austin.
