I have a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Toledo, and have worked on both external aerodynamics and active flow control wind tunnel testing. On my first job, I worked with vortex meters for low-air speed applications and fell in love with it. The flow physics behind the development of each technology and then connecting it to real life applications really interests me. It’s also very important that we produce a product that will make our customer’s job easier. That’s the ultimate goal. I was part of the R&D team as a principal mechanical engineer for 10 years and developed vortex meters and sensor designs which were awarded several patents. I also supported the development of our coriolis line and new CFT51 transmitter. I joined the Offer management team in 2018 and became the Global Offer Manager for flow products for Schneider Electric (Field devices), PA organization. I manage three product lines at this time: vortex, electromagnetic, and coriolis mass flowmeters. I am an active member of API (American Petroleum Institute) and Co-Chaired new standards published for Vortex for liquids and gases. I enjoy staying active and like swimming and crossfit.
