As Senior Vice-President for Smart Cities, Charbel Aoun is in charge of defining, implementing and managing the group’s strategy, business development, business models and partnerships across the world.
Prior to joining Schneider Electric, Charbel was Managing Director in Cisco, and ran the Smart & Connected Communities (S+CC) practice in the EMEA region. As one of the architects of the S+CC vision, Charbel was a key driving force behind many activities in Europe and new economies.
Prior to 2007, Charbel spent 5 years with Accenture UK in various senior roles such as eDemocracy practice lead, International Director of Technology and Operation.
Charbel holds an MBA in global operations and a BSc in Computer Science from Notre Dame University. He is fluent in English, French and Arabic.
